Does anyone have a easy and tasty recipe for banana pudding? I bought some bananas and some Nilla Wafers and my husband made the comment about me making some banana puddding. Well I didnt buy these items for that reason but I thought I would make some for him.
I have never made it before even though I love cooking for my family. Does anyone have a really good recipe that is tasty but easy as well.

How about something like this...it even includes the 'nilla wafers...Because it's layered it looks really cool in a clear glass bowl.
1 (3.4-ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1 3/4 cup milk
48 vanilla wafers
2 medium bananas, sliced
Whipped cream or frozen whipped topping, thawed
Beat first 3 ingredients at low speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes or until thickened.
Line bottom and sides of a 1 1/2-quart bowl with vanilla wafers.
Layer with half of banana and one-third of pudding. Repeat layers, ending with pudding. Cover and chill. Spread with whipped cream.

I forgot to mention you can make individual servings in pretty clear glasses too. I always loved when my mom did this.

the thing is about that mix..you have to add a certain amount of butter, sugar, and milk to make it just right..my mother used to make it that way and it was so good, it would make your eyes cross..lol

The best no bake banana pudding you will ever find :
1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (16 ounce) package vanilla wafers
14 bananas, sliced
In a large mixing bowl, beat pudding mix and milk 2 minutes. Blend in condensed milk until smooth. Stir in vanilla and fold in whipped topping. Layer wafers, bananas and pudding mixture in a glass serving bowl. Chill until serving.

I just use instant pudding, vanilla wafers, and cut up bananas. You can use vanilla pudding, but I think butterscotch pudding is much better.
