I never watch tv when in bed, I only have a tv in the bedroom because I have exercise equipment there and I watch it then. I think it is bad for your back and neck to watch tv in bed. Besides knowing me it would keep me up rather than helping me get to sleep.

I always watch tv when I fall assleep because If I dont have the tv on I wouldnt be able to fall assleep every noise I hear I would think its someone sneaking in my house or something the tv comforts me and is easy for me to fall assleep i use to listen to the radio but that dindnt help I would always stay up listing to music.

I don't watch tv, so this is not something that happens to me. But I have read that if you leave the tv on at night while you are sleeping it disturbs your REM sleep and you will be more tired the next day because you were not able to reach your deepest level of sleep.

This can not happen to me, matte5. I only have a TV in my living room and I do not have a TV set in my bedroom.
So if I fall asleep watching TV I fall asleep on the sofa and when I wake up I turn the TV off and go to bed.
Happy mylotting!

I cannot go to sleep if there is any noise or light. And since we only have one air conditioner right now, we put it in the master bedroom and the kids have been camping out on the floor with all the wonderful accessories - gameboys,tv,and my personal favorite the brother arguments(get away from me,go lay over there, mom he's looking at me.) So needless to say I've been a little sleep deprived and I can't wait, because it is supposed to rain tonight and the temperature is supposed to go down. Tonight the kids sleep in their own rooms and I am going to recoup.
