i'm so glad my 4 year old daughter loves going to museums. we've only been to 3 so far. we went to a small little heritage site today and she just kept asking to see more. anyway i went to college for museology (museum studies) i'm so glad she loves it and we can share this together. is there something you love that your kids love as well that you can share together and have quality time.

That's wonderful that your little one loves museums! My kids enjoy them, too, when we go. Their favorites are the "hands on" type like the science museums, or the history museums where they get to "dig" for bones. I didn't know there was an actual college study devoted to museums. How interesting. What a neat thing to study! :)

it was really interesting, we learned every aspect of museums, from collecting, registration, conservation, educational programming, exibit desing and building and so much more. you get qualified to work in all the different areas of museum work so you have so many careers to pick from.

Thanks for the BR. I've seen that she's still going, and enjoying them. I think that is so exciting! Give her a hug from me, please?

My son does too especially if they are all about animals and such, his favorite being dinosaurs. When we went to Connecticut they had a childrens museum where kids can play and take part in different sceneries like sailing, cooking, farming, puppet shows, dress up, music etc. That was way cool!

I used to take my kids to museums when they were younger. We would play a game in each of the rooms: They would pick out their favorite object/painting, whatever, then I would have to guess what it was! It was lots of fun for all of us.
