i dont lock my room when going to sleep, may be because i'm not used to it since i'm a kid and now a days i'm very tired and very sleepy when going to bed. i don't have to worry even my room is not locked. but how about you?

yes coz it is safe to lock the doors in a house. i always care for my children as well as the other house mates.

I hate it when people just bust in my bedroom and start yelling at me to get up or wake up or make a lot of noise this really gets me crancy..as i like to wake up gradually..i live in a lot of motels and hotels..and i guess i always like security.. even if a private area..the green zone..one has to worry about intruders as they will pick your lock and ransack your house while you are sleeping..my dog would probably bark..but he is a shih tzu so what could he do..??but he sure is noisy..and that would wake us up..and yes my wife keeps the door open but we have separate bedrooms...it is healthier for us as we have been married 22 years and she like her door open and the TV on or radio and I like quiet..and no noise..and she wiggles too much and wakes me up all the time..and I snore..etc etc

Yes I lock the room of course and before we lock it I make sure that everything was already checked, even kid's rooms. I find it safe for all of us inside the house.
