Do you consider conscience is the inner voice within you?

I think so. Conscience is indeed the inner voice of people. Whatever you do, your conscience is there to guide you.

I look at this in a different way. That is, our behaviour towards a certain situation depends on our upbringing. When we were very young, our parents keep on correcting our bad habits, we cant say bad words, we cant raise our voice to others, we cant be angry with others, we have to think twice before talk, we shouldnt do anything that we dont like others do to us, so on and so forth goes the list... These things are deeply rooted within ourselves and when we do something that is not in keeping with these rulings, our subconscience start shouting at us. According to religion, Jesus wants us to love our neighbour the same we love ourselves. This covers everything. So we think, when we do something against this, that is Jesus who shouts from our mind. I distantly think, people who do very bad things, must have had very bad parents and surroundings where they had no chance to learn good things. I may be wrong, but this is what I personally think about the so called inner voice.

No you are not wrong. YOu have treated the subject with great respect, analysing the background, the reasoning, the feelings -- all leading to develop a conscience - differentiate between good and bad, right or wrong. You have put very useful sutff here which enables me to think further in the matter. Thank you. How do you do. I am back last month and I was wondering why your discussions are not seen? All the best and thanks again.

I am not very active these days SSH. I am extremely busy at work. Today, i got myself a little time and thought of messing up with myLot (LOL). We are running for productivity awards and the better part of the work involved is on my shoulders. Plus, i am studying for my HR qualification. So, this is a hectic time for me. I will not be starting discussions anytime soon, only answering my friends' discussions. Great to have you back, cos we missed your worthwhile and matured discussions what we can call real discussions. Have fun.
