I am too old for this

you know you are too old when RAP music sound like fingernail on blackboard. as a matter of fact, most music i hear on the radio is crap. a few none rythmic bass and it hits top 100!
what happen to our music? anyone have any idea other than me being too old for "advancemnet" in musci industry?
my god! I AM OLD!

I have a key chain that says, " I'm too Old for this S_ _ _! Well if your feeling good and ur Happy, then you're never too Old! Actually as long as I stay away from mirrors I feel like 35. I know what your saying about music too.I was humming a piece that the "Sons of the Pioneers" made way back in the 40's (I think?) I can't for the life of me abide that Hip Hop or even Hard Rock. I always say, "If I can't whistle the tune the music's no good!"I doubt that your "That Old!"

you are right about the whistling. i would add..if you can't sing without a background music, then its bad. most music ends up like chants.

i don't think we can say tis "garbage" since there are people who listens to it. i am tempted to call it far worst though.

lol! well im 32 and i feel the same way about the music playing on the radio these days. if it isnt rap (which i hate) then its ppl singing that have NO voice and they are most likely ripping off melody or lines from older and better songs.
frustrating and annoying to me at least.

and i thought i am the only one. its not music nowadays! its noise! you are absolutely right.
if i asks this question to those kids who listens to them, they say its creativity at its hightest and i am old. : (

i don't have a thing for rap music either... hahaha...does that mean i'm that old, too? :) now i feel that i already am. to think, i'm celebrating my birthday today. :)
music must be pleasant to the ears. if it's not, i consider it as noise. i like to hear melodies, rythms, great lyrics, coordinated sounds etc.

me being a rap artist..i understand how most would feel about hip hop music now adays sounds as you would describe it...
although some songs that are indeed crap end up on the radio...it is in fact put on top 100 hits because a good number of people listen to it...
most rap songs that are great are sampled from older songs and sometimes even the lyrics will be taken from the song..
