Lost in silent introspection,
I stare in the still water
Exchanging secret smiles
With my captive image.
Sudden splash,
Reverie snaps,
Something fallen from above,
Smashing the surface calm.
This turbulence radiates
Ripples of raging waves,
Defacing my reflection
Into bizarre bits of light.
As minutes pass by
The great healer,
Taking its own time,
Begins to rehabilitate.
Scattered pieces of puzzle,
Slowly swim back in place
As nature resolves itself
And I regain my face

i was never unsure about regaining you face but i am glad that you could fit in the jigsaw and could actually get lost in the waves of introspection...

You have done it again my friend. You are a very talented writer indeed. Nothing overt or overly out there. Very simplistic in it's meaning and makes a reader want to understand, to read more into it. I really enjoy reading your writings my dear friend. Simply magnificant !! :)
