Which do you prefer....showers or bath's?

I prefer a refreshing shower - Showers are awesome!

I have to admit I love my shower time. Not only do I feel more refreshed but also cleaner than I do when I get out of the tub. Sitting in the bathtub in the dirt and grime from the day has no appeal to me and the few times I have done it I always end it with a shower. Not only to be able to wash my hair in clean water but to rinse of what I feel is "residue" from the soap and water I've been sitting in. There were times when I would light the candles, put on soothing music and just lay there relaxing but I seldom do that any more. What is your favorite? Do you enjoy a shower more than a bath? Don't you feel cleaner after a shower?

I prefer baths with lots of bubbles and oils to relax - I'll spend an hour or more in the tub just added hot water as needed. However do to time I limit myself to a relaxing bath once a week and showers the rest of the week. With the hot weather we've been having I've turned the temperture down a bit cooler than normal and have had to watch how long I'm in there because it feels good and refreshing.

Wow, this one feels good! - RElaxing baths
Hi byfaithonly! Yep, having a nice bath is relaxing. If we don't only have a water problem here in our place, then it might be nice to have a bath everyday or at least once a week. It is really refreshing and it feels good.

I just spent the week at my daughters and the water pressure at her house is horrible so I settled for baths. I have to say I really hated it. Being so hot out I was really sweaty and felt dirty and the bath didn't make me feel any cleaner. I really missed my showers and took one as soon as I got in my apartment. It was soooo refreshing.

I really enjoy a nice, long, relaxing bath. That's only when I am not "that" dirty. I mostly like showers for every day though. However, I haven't really been able to take many showers in the past 1.5 years because my daughter wants to be in there with me all the time so I have to take a bath with her. Which means I rarely get my showers, and NEVER get my relaxing baths.

Hi mGarcia! That's alright that you are not having that relaxing baths, at least you and your child are enjoying the company of being in the bath. Just enjoy that moment because one day, you might not doing the same thing again.

When dirty a shower, but when not so dirty a bath. I love to soak in the tub with lots of candles and my music softly playing.

I shower every morning. It is quicker and I feel cleaner. I love the bath too more for relaxing than getting clean.

I don't think your weird. I know I would feel the same way if I didn't at least have the choice. Even though I prefer showers it's nice to have the option.

Well showers are diferent from baths. When makeing a bath it takes longer. Now it's hot outside I think I will make a shower. OF course shower, I do it day by day. This a way I can cool myself. Bath, I do it at the end of the week. Chears friend ;).

Showers are definitely different than baths in that like you say they are much faster. I agree showers are a great way to cool off in the summer.

A shower is definitely what I prefer, I just don't see how you can get clean sitting in dirty water. I prefer a shower, I can adjust the temperature at a whim, last night I just kept making the water colder and colder until I could not stand it anymore. Of course 15 minutes later I was sweating again, but it felt good for a few minutes.

Bathtub - Sitting in dirty water?
I feel the same way. No matter how many candles and nice smelling oils you have your still sitting in dirty water. Doesn't do a thing for me.

Everyday I have a shower as it's quicker for me. When I am tired and sore from exercising or whatever, then I take a nice hot bath and soak. It helps with my sore muscles.

Hi there. We prefer to take showers, as baths I think hold the dirt around your body, dirt runs straight down the plug hole in a shower lol... But then again, its nice to have a good soak once in awhile, with candles and beautiful smelling oils...

Lit candles - aroma candles too.
I think the only way to take a bath is to have candles burning and using great smelling oils. I should do it more...lol

It really just depends. I love my shower, it's one of those big ones with all the different settings and massage options and pressure levels, I love! But we also have a jacuzzi, and it's a dream to have a bath in there. I have to be in the mood for that since I have to prepare it, the bubbles, the scenty, good smelling stuff...but it feels 18 times better than a shower after I'm out of there. It's so relaxing! So I usually prefer a shower, but a bath in the jacuzzi is really what heaven must feel like! Lol.

I would kill for one of those shower heads. It's on my list of things to buy when I have "extra" cash..lol...and the jacuzzi? Some day when I marry a rich man...hahahaha....

actually the best thing to do in my apartment is to have shower for more than a limit time. i love the shower of my apartment. aside from my bed which is my very favorite place wherever i am, the bathroom is where i can refresh myself. the shower is great, unlike the apartment i had before my current, it sucks. i dont really dream of an ideal bath like yours hehe.. just a cold shower and im good to go..
