Weight Loss Competition - Wednesday, July 11th

Hello! How did we do yesterday??? I did pretty good. I ended up going roller blading for about 45 minutes and unfortunately it rained for the last 25 minutes. My friend and I were soaked from head to toe when we finally made it back to the car. I guess the rain raised the intensity level! :) How did the rest of you do???

How fun rollerblading sounds:) I have always wanted to learn how to rollerblade, but I live in the country and there is no where around here that I could go. I did good yesterday as far as eating. I didn't get any exercise in, I sat at the pool all day:)

Rollerblading is fun! I suggest your try it. Go to a roller ring or if you prefer ice skating, thats even better! Did you sweat while you were sitting by the pool?? If you did, then you probably sweat some pounds off! :)

We had fried chicken and biscuits yesterday and that blew it. I weighed myself this morning and I am up to 213 lbs. I guess I will have to go on a diet of yogurt, fruit, and salad and walk up and down those stairs alot. I feel so depressed.

Don't be depressed because then you end up eating more. And don't just eat salad, fruit and yogurt. Here try either one of these ideas: 1) Follow portion control by not allowing anything on your plate to touch. That way you are limiting yourself to the amount of mashed potatoes you have on your plate or the number of pieces of chicken you eat. 2) Instead of using a full size dinner plate, use a side plate. Remember to not fill up the plate to the max or sky high, but just a few pieces of chicken here and one scoop of mashed potatoes there. Its all about portion size!!! Good luck my friend!
