Is Putting Myself Through A Window An Option?

Cause i'm seriously contemplating it.... I went in to the doctor last night, turns out, he's a retard too, okay well maybe i'm the retard but when someone asks for a test, you give it to them, am i wrong? Well this guy decided we would wait a couple of weeks so that we can get a more definitive answer, well that was my last straw... I went out and got myself a first response test, and i'll be damned, somehow, it's negative, yet as soon as i start into my morningly routine, i start hurling again, same as the last while... Maybe the doc was right, maybe it won't show for a while, but if i'm not pregnant what the hell is wrong with me? and where do i go from here? My tummy's swelling a tad, i'm in the bathroom all the time, either hurling or peeing, i'm a nervous wreak somehow, really damn mean to people (which i feel really bad for, it's just that i have little control before i call someone a retard, or tell them what i want to do to them lately...) My chest hurts, yeah that area, my ribs are killing me, my legs keep getting funky pains, but my blood work up came out that i'm healthy as a horse... Omg what do i do and where do i go from here, i'm so far gone with this i'm done...

When I was pregnant with both of my children I found out I was 2 weeks pregnant with my daughter and I was 3 weeks pregnant with my son, they can do a blood test to determine if you are pregnant, I had not heard that you couldn't get tested until a certain time, might try another doctor for a second opinion. Also, too I heard about a new pregnancy test on the market, it is supposed to be for early detection, you might check it out, perhaps that could help you, couldn't hurt and should would give a clear indication as to what's going on. Take care

First, let me tell you story, I know, I always have them, but this is a good one! When I was pregnant with my first born, I knew I was pregnant when I was 2 days pregnant, I could just feel it, anyways I went to the doctor to get confirmed that in fact, I was pregnant, they did a urine test, it came back NEGATIVE, so I went back to living my life, mind you I didn't have a period and felt pregnant, but he said I wasn't. So the next month when I didn't have a period I went to him again, again another urine test was done, NOT PREGNANT, so this went on for a few months (5 to be exact), until my 19th birthday I woke up with 104 fever and doubled over in pain, my Mother rushed me to the emergency room and to the amazement of everybody (not me) I WAS PREGNANT ... duh ... and the my baby was sitting on my kidneys causing a wrong reading (at first it was a bladder infection that became a kidney infection in the end). I ended up staying in the hospital for a month after that diagnosis and I checked in skinny and checked out 6-1/2 months pregnant, isn't that a HOOT?? I can't make it clearer to you, don't trust the doctors, trust yourself, take care of yourself and go to a doctor that does a blood test, don't get caught up in the urine test thing, just doesn't work, especially those that get bladder infections easily that will change the results of such a test. Hugs!!

Thanks sweety, that doctor's just a retard, he just wants me to go in time and time again, just so he gets paid more, dumb jerks... I tried the early response test, but got nothing, though urine tests don't do all that much even when they say positive half the time, especially if you have a urinary track infection.... who knows, all i know is i'm going in to get blood work done from some other doctor, and hope to god i can get in to see my gyno sooner than later.

I was going to go into emerge last night, but i passed out before hubby got home... i'm pretty sure we're going in tonight... Wish me luck, if i'm not pregnant i'm going to be so upset...

Did you get the test that says you can take it 5 days before you miss your period? Because what you describe is signs of pregnancy. For some reason though, even I had a hard time showing in a pee test that I was pregnant. I would take it as far as two weeks after a missed period and it still said that it was negative. But sure enough, I really was pregnant! And if you are being mean to people and you don't know why and feel bad...that is another sure sign too. Hang in there....you may just have to wait it out a bit longer for it to show in a test. Sawwy.

Oh wow! If your mother was like that, I would be yanking on a doctor to give me a blood test. There were times that was the only way to tell with me also! So...I yanked a few doctors around myself because I didn't want to play with them. ha ha If you feel the blood test is necessary, tell the doctor that. He really hasn't a right to say no if that is what you want.

How Late are you? Go and see another doctor it does sound like pregnancy. They should be able to do a blood test which should show up better if the pee test didn't or try the pee test early morning(it's most strongest then) I had a friend who was trying to get pregnant and did the test on the day her period was due and it came up negative than a week later still no period and she did another and it came up positive........ Is it a good thing or bad thing for you to be pregnant???

CyberGranny! - The CyberGranny To Your Babe!
Oh my word! I might possibly be a CyberGranny! I can't wait! Before I get to the good part I am assuming that a urinary tract infection has been ruled out.....RIGHT? Of course it has!Can you put yourself through a window? Well, I see no reason not to, other than if you are preggers I won't get to be a CyberGranny, and you know that I am going to make this all about me, do you not!?!If you are spitfire, this is going to be the BEST time of your life. Please don't let other women scare you with horror stories of their pregnancies and deliveries. I'm not sure why we do that to other women but we do and it is really not fair at all!The minute you find out for sure, you must invest in some maternity clothing and walk around with your belly stuck out as far as possible, even if you can barely see it. People will be so kind to you. It is almost like a "free ride". You can cross a 4-lane highway and people will brake all around, colliding into each other just to let you waddle across. With every one of my children I puked the morning after conception up until the day I delivered. I also developed an allergic reaction to iron - go figure - that never happens. Instead of going for monthly visits, right from the start I had to go to the gynie once a week for a B-12 shot in one hip and an allergy shot in the other hip. Then I felt fine. Even the puking part wasn't bad. I would get up, sit on the commode and pee, and puke in the sink. I would then brush my teeth, bathe, dress, and go about my day. Do you ever wonder why women always hold their bellies when they are pregnant? It is so they can really connect with the little life that is growing inside their body. As soon as you find out for sure you are going to get a child, let all that hormonal negativity crap go. Start talking to your baby. Tell her/him how much s/he is going to be loved. I promise you that once you start doing this, it's going to be very difficult for you to be angry with anyone. When you are feeling as uncomfortable as you are right now, I would suggest lying down on your bed on your back. Place a very small pillow beneath your lower back and another one under your knees. If you don't have an eye mask, invest in one of the silky ones that doesn't have an elastic band around it but is filled with scent (usually lavender or chamomile), the lavender is probably the most calming. I keep mine in the freezer. It doesn't freeze and get hard, it just keeps it chilled and keeps me cool as I lie in bed. It also makes the room go totally blace so it becomes much easier to relax. Then, precious darling, just breathe. If you have never meditated before, private message me and I will give you a really easy lesson. The less stress you are feeling, the less pain you will feel. My biggest concern for you at this time is the pain you are describing in your legs. If you said they were swollen and tired I would agree that is a sign of pregnancy, but having them be painful is something bothersome. Did you discuss this with the doctor? I really feel that this is something that should be looked into a bit more, whether it be another doctor or the emergency room; but I hope you look into it very soon. I will be adding you to the list of names under my daily candle and keeping you close to my heart.~Donna

Haha too cute... I guess the only reason i'm frustrated is because i have people in my house laughing at me every time i hurl or pee, i have doctors that don't know anything by the looks of it and i just really want to know what's going on... I damn near fainted last night, and that scares the hell out of me... I'm allergic to iron as well, every time they tried anything on me, time release, that horrid brown liquid, the pills, everything, i would hurl day and night, but i think it's gotten way better, maybe gone away over the years. Those are some really great ideas, i found that i'm grabbing my belly at times unconsciously, i don't know what it is, maybe comfort or something... thanks for all the advice hun, if i had more people like you in my life i'd be all set... I talked to the doctor and 2 different health nurses about this leg thing, they all said that if i'm pregnant the kid could be using one of my nerves as a pillow, causing spasms in my upper thighs, it's not bad, but enough to tick me off and tub my legs :P your a sweetheart.

A blood HCG will show if you are pregnant, even if its only a few days. Urine tests can give flase negative (or false positive) up to several weeks. There could also be a number of reasons other than pregnancy which could give some of these symptoms. Have you been taking any prescribed hormone medication to help you get pregnant like oestrogen or progesterone? Putting yourself through a window is not an option - don't even think of it.

Hi Spitfire. It sure sounds like you are pregnant. I would just treat myself as if I were pregnant until the doctor does some more tests. If you want answers quicker, why not go to a clinic and ask for them to do a blood test to see if you are pregnant.

That's what i was doing, asking for a blood test, but the doctor was a retard haha.. Okay well he wasn't, but he sure peeved me off when he decided to pull the 'well i went to university' bull, i said to him, i don't care if you went to university, i know my body and something's not exactly right. if i am pregnant the darn little parasite is giving me a run for my money already :P nahh i'll always love it, it's just frustrating... I might just wait like the imbusil told me to, and then find out for sure. thanks hun.

Please don't go through the window! If it has been less than three weeks from the time you conceived until you took the home test you may have had a false negative. Try another home test later on, or you may want to go to another doctor and get a second opinion. You do sound hormonal, maybe it's a condition not related to pregnancy.

I'm not sure when we could have conceived, there's a lot of times it could have been haha.... and i am hormonal, which totally sucks because that's NOT me, but hey, that's life... Yeah the dumb doctor was telling me to wait 2 weeks so that i wouldn't get a false negative, but i can still be mad at him right? and the test? i get it and all, i guess i just want to know, and it's monotonous to sit here and wonder... I've cut off my asthma medication because it's very very harmful on a growing baby, in or out, and without that stuff i have a hard time with my lungs, i just want to know so i can protect it.... do what's right... i don't want to be one of those mothers that doesn't know or doesn't want to know until the day before she gives birth... err... Thanks hun...

I would go to another doctor, a female gynecologist if I could, and see what they say.

Have you ever been pregnant before? Are you familiar with the symptoms that you usually experience. My sister had had four children, including a set of triplets and then she had what they called a hysterical pregnancy. She had all the signs and was sure that she was, but she really wasn't. It was really hard on her and the family, when she realized that she had just gained a lot of weight and that there was no baby. Wait for the doctor to tell you, so you don't end up disappointed.

First of all hon, CALM DOWN! lol I would suggest that if you are that desperate to know (like I was) do what I did, go to the ER and ask for a BLOOD pregnancy test. They will do it for you. Good Luck Hon!! I hope you are pregnant!!!

Sure sounds as if you are having a rough ride, but surely putting yourself through a window aint the solution. It might be for you, but what about your friends a family, those who loves you? You would pass on the hurt to those people, as well as the guilt feeling of not being able to support you in a way that would have made you stay with them. If i was you i would consider alternative options and ask for the help and support you need.

well you could be pregnant in your tubes which is very could kill you if it burst. the best thing to do is have the doctor do a blood test and a sonogram. that will tell for sure if you pregnant. good luck and let me know how it goes
