My dbf decided I should try this and see what we can come up with. Now, I'm NOT good with numbers and I haven't the first clue on how to learn about stock trading.
Do you know of any sites or books that are good for learning how to do that. I can learn and prolly be good at it. I'm very intelligent and don't let trivial things get in my way, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi :
Well, you shouldn't treat stock trading lightly if you intend to use real money to invest.
Build your knowledge in stock trading first, a good book to start off is "How to Make Money in Stocks:A Winning System in Good Times or Bad" written by Mr. William J. O'Neil. You should be able to borrow it from the library.
Attaining profit from stock trading is more than being intelligent. It also involves building your experiences of the stock market and the psychological aspect of the market through live trading. You need to put in a lot of work to find the trading system which suits your trading style and could bring you more consistent, profitable trades.
Take your time and build you knowledge & experience slowly.
Good Luck With Your Trading.

Thank you for your valuable advice! I will most certainly look into that book and learn some things before trying my hand at it. Work on low level stock trading for awhile until I get the hang of it. Start small and work at it.
