Has Anyone Ever Accessed Your myLot Account or Profile?! I'm Pissed!!!!

I am so angry that I want to spit nails right now! I am absolutely furious, beyond belief! Someone has accessed my account, and added false and very prejudicial tags to a discussion that I started!!! I am so angry about this, and am totally clueless as to how this can happen?! Of course, I sent a private message to "myLot" in regards to my wanting them to be removed from the discussion immediately, but I am finding that I need to vent! How does this happen?! The only explanation that I have for this even occurring in the first place is that one member, in particular, did not like a comment that I posted. The person misunderstood what my opinion was in regards to a topic, and I attempted to make it very clear to her as he/she appeared to "put words in my mouth" that are so far from my beliefs that I had to respond. Has this ever happened to anyone at myLot?! If so, did myLot work quickly to correct the situation?! I don't ever want anyone to have the impression that I would ever have prejudices towards any particular population (with the exception of pedophiles and murderers ;.) Please respond if you have experienced anything similar to this. Thank you.

I've heard of that, but can't understand how that happens. It kind of makes me nervous about the security on this site.

As I posted previously, I have really enjoyed myLot up until tonight's discovery! :./ I am hoping that myLot staff correct the issue quickly, and yes, it makes me nervous to think of how limited the security actually is. I'm very disappointed that people can do something like this just because they may not agree with your perspective on a topic discussion. Thanks for your time!

I haven't have it happen but I have heard of a few others it has happend to and I don't blame you. i would report them also.

Hello Shaun72. I am so surprised, as I have loved this site ever since I joined it one month ago! I wish that I knew who added the tags to the discussion I started because I would definitely report the person! When someone goes to my profile, and they happen to look at a particular discussion that I started, it appears that I was the individual who added these prejudicial tags! Thanks for your support.

Do you mean someone added tags to your discussion? If you are speaking strictly of tags, people can add those to your discussion without even replying to your discussion. Anyone can. That doesn't mean they accessed your account. But I am getting the feeling I don't understand. Because I doubt you would be so upset if someone hadn't actually hacked into your account. It has never happened to me, but it would make me angry too.
