Can we compare the idleness in human being to barren tree?

An idle man's brain is devil's workshop - so goes the saying by Bunyan. Keeping oneself idle is a national waste, individual waste of time and money and what is lost is lost for ever.

I think that we can compare the idleness in human being to a barren tree. Because if we don't use our mind, it will be rusty like a nail soaked in the rain, good for nothing. If we don't use our body in physical labour, it will be like a lazy pig getting stout without having the least desire to move...
