why can't i forgive a person who lied to me

i have been hurt and lied too by t5he person i love, i don't have anybody right now but him, i basically live alone, when we met i said to myself maybe its time for me to be happy because i already have someone to spend the rest of my life with, but he keeps on lying and lying about small and simple things, i keep on hurting each time he do it, we are not talking right now because i cannot seem to forget all the lies he told me, the funny thing is, i hate him so much but i miss him, i dont wanna talk to him but im longing to be with him, how can i possiby forgive him ang forget what he has done to me, i want our relationship to work but i cant stop feeling mad and hurt...

Lies are hard to get over, especially when done by the person or people we let get close to us. You also must wonder what else they lie about. Being alone is not a bad thing. Might help you to grow more as a person and become better for your next relationship.
If he could make it up to you it would take a lot of time and effort on his part since guys just seem to have to lie, like it is somehow genetic. Good luck with this.
