Who knew kittens could be so cute?

As some of you already know, yesterday we adopted three stranded newborn kittens. We found the first one Tuesday night and then the other two earlier Wednesday morning. We waited and watched for their mother to return today, but she never showed up. I guess she was done with them and had to move on. Between the three new babies, two adults, one little kid and two full grown cats, it's definitely a full house now. You should have seen the kittens tonight. They got themselves real jam! It started when the big kitten tried to lay on his brother. And then that kitten moved around, twisting and turning trying to get on top of the third kitten. And, then the third kitten decided that he wanted no part of it and tried to climb onto the big kitten. And, the kittens kept rolling each other over so they could be on top, till finally they were got all bunched up into one big cat ball! And, that's how they fell asleep. It was too cute. I wish I'd had my video camera out at the time.
