I know the feeling. the same thing happened to me several times. needless to say, it doesnt do me any good to walk around the whole day thinking of the calls i missed, or the ugent text messages i got that i couldnt reply to. now, i always make sure my phone is with me before leaving my house. this way, i wont have to walk around all day with "murder" in my eyes:)

i do that sometimes. just a few days ago, i left my cellfone at home. good thing i realized it when i was at the elevator of our apartment building, and then went back to my unit again to get it. it is difficult without the cellfone these days especially when you rely on it too much for communication with friends, family, co-workers etc.

That used to drive me absolutely nuts, but I don't let it bother me anymore. I don't need to be in touch with everyone at every moment. I like having a cellphone incase I need to reach someone, but I don't need people to be able to reach me...that's not why I have it. Now that I'm somewhere in AZ with no signal, I've gotten myself used to NOT having it. I've saved a lot of money that way.

I can understand how you feel. In this time cellphones are becoming a necessity than just a luxury in our daily life. It is as if there are always others that will always contact us. But definitely there are at least one or two text that comes in so its really necessary to have it always at hand. It is such a weird feeling that you could not describe since 5 to 10 years ago this was not felt when the cellphones were not as popular as now.
