I love online freebies, but I hate those sites...

...that lure you in under false pretenses. They tell you about something free you can get and that all you have to do is fill out their survey. Then, after you give them your personal information and answer their questions, they give you another page that tells you that you must sign up for at least one of the offers on this page in order to get what they promised you in the first place.

I hate those. I got so much spam afterward that I wished I have never come across the sites to begin with. But stupid me, I bit on one from someone in a discussion on MyLot a few days ago and here we go again with all the spam and supposedly ways to earn a few pennies. You would think I would have learned the first time. I just thought this one was legit.

sent off for loads of free stuff and sometimes do get some of it but its far and in between when I do,I think mainly they are just after your email addy to load you down with junk emails lol

ohhh I hate those! I have learned over the past few years that they always use the same lure so I know what to avoid now. Usually anything that is worth over a few dollars has a catch when it is offered free.

I've never looked at money-making sites before because I've always worked up until now. There are so many scammers out there. I figure there must be some legitimate sites somewhere, and maybe someday I'll find one. In the meantime, I'm enjoying meeting all the people here.

Oh so do I. I wonder how they can legally get away with it? And then you check your Email box, and get hit with a lot of Spam Emails as well from this. They need to somehow outlaw sites like this, or warn us in advance. Makes me sometimes be afraid to even consider trying to get something for Free via online.

I hate those sites too, they drive me crazy. i don't even mess with it any more. i have found some good sites, so ill stay with them for now.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It is always a catch to them.Some of those surveys will fool ya.i don't even pay them mind anymore. Then they flash you are a winner,blinking and what not. They are a trip.So fake.

i know those are a pain, you think that you dont have to sign up by the way they put some of them but you get there and guess what you do.

I know what you mean...I have sent away for free stuff and never recieved it....I guess a lot are just scams.
