I was sitting down and going thru some reflections about what i did and how much I achieved when i realized i posted something like the following a long time ago.... "how big must a banquet be for it to be call sufficient? been arguing with my friends over this your views? it is so ironic... relatives...supposedly linked by blood...but we only meet once in a blue moon...and yet, when we get married, we have to invite all of them, else they say we younger generation have no respect. but when it comes to getting help, more often than not, friends are usually the ones who stand by you more than your kin. your relatives, on the other hand, may even become sarcastic, and judge you with a bias hand. makes it all senseless to have to celebrate your marriage with a bunch of people you hardly know. on top of that, pay so much, dun get to eat, have to go thru so many rounds of drinks, stand all day, by which, at the end of the day, you are too tired out to even kiss your newly wedded wife good nite. is it all worth it? at this day and age where relationship dun mean nuts to many?"
