I try not to vote strictly Republican or Democrat. I am voting for the people. There have been times when I have voted for people in several different parties. Sadly, when I vote for the green party-or the independent, I feel my vote is wasted becuase I know they don't stand a chance.

I just wrote a similar topic and found this one because of that. I'm voting mostly Democrat, but might make an exception or two on the local level.
