i have a job right now that i enjoy and kinda learned to like. last week, my brother in law mentioned that there's a job opening at his niece's company that requires my skill. better pay. and i'm tempted. however it's in a different city that would require me to commute more than 3 hours each day. whereas, i'm living about a few minutes from work and we specifically picked this place because of my job. if you are in my situation, would you rather stay at your present job or seek a better paying job but has to move in another city?

well because i have kids, i have a family to consider. better pay is alays welcome but i also have to be there to attend to the needs of my children. my time is not enough as it is... i don't think i can add the time wasted in commuting... it can be really very tiring on my part.

Hi elmo1211! If you really love the job you have right now, you better stay. Consider the expenses you're going to incur if you get to work for the other company. This will require you to have another 3 hours to waste on travel time. However, there may be some solutions, you can get a boarding house if in case you think that the new job will be more promising for your career. Weigh things over. Sometimes, we have to take risks in order to move forward and climb the ladder of success. Good luck!
