Another poem I came across in my old notebook. -------------- They say this day goes by, only once a year, This day is for all mothers, who have given birth to children so dear, To a mother every moment is precious, as she watches her child grow, From their tiny little heads and cute little toes, To men and women, from young to old. - They say this day goes by, only once a year, This day is for all mothers, who have given birth to children so dear, Through the many years together, a mother and her child, So many things they may share, The teething and talking to graduation and college, Though a mother and her child may sometimes argue over silly meaningless things, That special bond between them can never be changed. - They say this day goes by, only once a year, This day is for all mothers, who have given birth to children so dear, But to a mother, every day is a special day, As she watches her little baby grow a little more and more, As together they face all of life's fear, All these special moments, and all the precious memories, Makes this special "Mother's day", every day of every year.
