what do all of you mylotters think about the war in Afghanistan

I am a British citizen and proud of it. my dad has been in the british army now for 29 years and has worked all of the way up the ranks all the way to a respected major. i believe that the war in afghanistan should be stopped. innocent bystanders are being caught in cross fire. also soldiers are being injured. some of which dont believe in tht war. for example four of my dads soldiers were hit by a suicide bomber while in their armoured SUV. i would reali enjoy listening to other peoples views on the war in afghanistan.

Well as a fellow Brit, I would say we should get out and get out quickly. We shouldn't be fighting these wars in the first place. Our boys are dying - and for what? Get out as quickly as possible. I hope your Dad stays safe.
