We are leaving tomorrow for Disney and the three of us have decided to do carry ins only. I know that for toiletries/liquids you can only have 4, 3oz containers in a quart bag. I assume that a toothbrush, or non-liquid medicine does not count as one of the four items and those can be packed away. Can you pack the quart bag with the liquids (only liquid we are carrying is a small container of contact solution and two smaller than 3oz toothpastes), or do you have to keep it separate when you go through security?

I believe that all of those sample size liquids can be kept in the same quart bag. They can be packed in your carry on and when going through security they will ask you for them and you show them. Once shown you can return them to your bag for it to be x-rayed. toothbrushes do not count as one of the four items. I also assume non liquid medicine wouldn't count although I have no experience with that. Hope I helped.

My daughter just returned from a trip to Europe. She had a carryon bag in which she had one change of clothing (in case of lost luggage) her IPOD,some granola bars, and her quart baggie with her 4-3oz containers. Her quart baggie had a contact solution, toothpaste and shampoo for the liquids and also a toothbrush. It was all kept in the carryon...which is put through the scanner as is. I hope I answered your question..if not, let me know. She was very glad that she took the change of clothing. Her luggage wasn't lost, but one of her roommate's was...and luckily she could wear my daughter's outfit until her luggage arrived...two days later!!!
