OK, WHY SHOULD i STAY HERE ON MYLOT?

I can only share with you that I keep posting because it feels good to share my experiences. The money to me is just numbers and in real terms amount to very little, unless that is one's got a huge, active downline. Sometimes I ask myself, why I bother, but it seems like I just do. I ask myself the same questions with other things also. The human mind, it seems rides a roller coaster - up one minute, down the next. In my work with my clients, I recommend meditation and writing things out - to externalise the "tricks" of the mind. As you may realise this is a very beneficial exercise and one on which many hours are spent. I have found, that as I share on myLot, I often get a clearer indication of what I "know" within, through the act of sharing. The dollars and cents in the left hand column are sort of fun for me, just like a board game I suppose. And that's what this Internet is all about for me.. A game - sometimes profound and enightening, sometimes not - but all that is just a trick of my mind :-) I have either inspired you by what I have written above, or you can stay simply because you and I have had some enlightening conversations.. :-)

I've not posted on Mylot for days as I've been busy and am going to have to move soon. but it's not just that, a lot of my friends seem to be less active on mylot recently maybe it is because the earnings do seem to be getting lower. I've not been on the site that long compared to some members so don't really know any different. though it certainly isn't the money that brings me back, I've never reached payout yet (I have it set to $25) so it's never going to make me rich posting on here.

Well Sweetie in my case it is all my Friends and my enjoyment of talking to them Responding to them and the deep Friendship we have we are like a little Family here

Well, what else is there to do on a rainy day! We have had our fair share of them these last two months or so. The money is slowly creeping up, but it seems to be getting harder to get past that $5.00 mark. They must have dropped their per post rate. I keep coming back for those stimulating discussions. It keeps my mind active. There are some friends here that I have made along the way. I will stay and keep responding as little or as much as my time allows. I don't let the money get to me like I used to. Life is too short.

I have only been paid once so I know is not the payment what keeps me here in mylot! I like to respond to discussions, make new friends, start discussions and earn a few dollars every two-three months? I have been here for 5 months and I have made a lot of friends. Soon I will reach the 1,000 mark. I see you have over 10,000, wow! I will some day reach that mark.

I've been quite inactive in here lately, but I'm not planning to quit. I think it's quite addictive for me to completely quit. I almost don't make money in here besides the few cents you mentioned, but I think it's great to earn some change to talk to people anyway. :D Don't quit, you're loved around here! Friends....fun....and we are plain out stupidly addicted? ha ha ha I have to take breaks here and there when I get upset about things. I can stand conflict anymore. I think myLot has argued me out. ha ha That I do not want to sit here and argue with anyone over anything anymore. I think that is a good thing though. ha ha Either that...or it is a sign of age. Ouch! Oh wait! It could be subliminal messages! That is what has us addicted and coming back! ha ha ha

I obviously cant speak for anyone else but for me its the great coversations...MyLot is a fabulous way to spend time chatting with others, debating, discussing and havin laughs and the pay is just a bonus feature.....

Hi Eskarena I know the feeling.LOL I cant stay away from mylot because of all the friends Ive made. I really enjoy talking with them everday and seeing how they are doing. We all have become a little family here. How can you just leave your family? And thats what brings me back. I know Im not going to make pay out this month but hey I will make it the next.LOL

Hi eskarena, hope you are well - as you know i'm not about alot at all nowadays - partly because it's summer and when it's a nice evening I like to be out and about - I'm busy at work and that leaves me little time for mylot nowadays. I suppose to me it's about the friends on here that I've made over the short period of time since I've joined - there are always the ones that are always there and it's nice popping back to see what discussions are about! Thats what make me keep coming back!

I think it is more about the discussions which we participate & the interaction with so many people from so many countries.This is what brings me into MYlot rather than money.I have been in 1 figure amount for the past 2 months but still i enjoy My lotting.

I personally come back to visit friends. I learn a lot from people here and I would miss that a lot too. Earnings has never been a big deal to me here..... good thing.

If nothing else, it could be to make some friends on here. If you decide to take time away, it's your choice on that. I probably won't and I just think to myself it doesn't bother me. I just made it last month so I just go like this, if I make it, that's great, if not, then I'll just have to try next month. I usually try not to let something like that bother me so much. Yeah I haven't earned much but I think for me it to do with posting not as much as I did to earn it. If time would work out, I probably would have made more but it happens. At least that's why I keep coming back, the discussions and also the people on here.

i have only been member one week as doctor say good for temper issues. i meet many new friends and they so nice to me. you have big number. please stay. i ask to be your friend. I have difficulty in past being friends face to face. please stay.

Stay here because you have lots of friends and you have lots of opportunities to exchange ideas etc. I didnt get my 0 this past month..I am still here. I love the set up. I am sure things will get better.. Did you post less then you did the other months?

I haven't had payment on mylot in months, but I do enjoy the interactions I have in discussions, and I wish I had more time to spend on mylot to stay in touch with friends. I'm just so busy now with school, I rarely get to mylot anymore, my rating dropped from 10 to 9 but I don't care!

The earnings here haven't been the greatest but I really enjoy the friends I have made. Maybe someday the earnings will increase again. I really enjoy the company here. Besides, you have to stay, I still feel very strongly that a message will come to you. And I need to hear that message. Sorry, I am being a bit selfish today. But I really do enjoy reading your discussions.

There are many reasons to stick around. I always come to mylot because I throughouly enjoy it. I enjoy it because I have made many great friends, and also, it helps me to defeat boredom:P I really don't stick around for the money, because it is so menial. I just enjoy mylot, it can be alot of fun. So, what brings me back? The main reason for me, TO DEFEAT BOREDOM:P

I think for me it is the social thing. I also think that if your on mylot to just make money your not using your time very wisely. I do understand your frustration some days I get one cent and that is it. LOL I was just thinking that payments seem to be at an all time low and I was thinking that it was just me. Money is to root of all evil and lets face it well all fall short. I do hope that you stick it out and stay around a little longer I mean you just hit 10,000 posts your like the big Kahona now!

Well, I hope you stay here, just for your friends. I'm not even half way to $10.00, yet, but I love all you people. I don't have as much time to check everybody's discussions as often as I'd like, but I'd miss you if you weren't here. Take care!
