The Music of Bread

One of my favorite groups was Bread. David Gates was the lead singer. There are so many titles that bring back many fond memories. Lost Without Your Love, If, Guitar Man, Diary, Make it With You. Too many to list. Did you enjoy the music of Bread and what was your favorite tune?

Bread is one of my favorite folk and country bands that influenced my musical life, I really love hearing the voice of David Gates.
Some of my best songs from Bread are, Guitar Man, Find Me, Take Me Now and if I'm not mistakin', Longin'.. Surely brings me back memories, everytime I hear their music play!;)

OH MY GOSH!!! What a trip down memory lane. Yes, I dearly loved listening to Bread when I was a teen. I had their 'platinum collection' album...and loved every song on it! A few of my absolute favorites however were/are: Everything I Own, If, and Any Way You Want Me. What a phenomenal group they were..so mamy hits! Gate's voice was so soothing and relaxing to listen to. I do belive I am going to have to download some Bread tunes for my IPOD...what a great selection to listen to when I am stuck in a physician's waiting room or better yet, the dentist's waiting room...where I am normally trembling in fear!!! Perhaps David Gates will help me get ready for the dentist! Ha!

You haven't named any here that aren't favorites of mine, but then again, I think that I enjoy all of their music. They made some fantastic music, and you re right, they brink back some wonderful memories of the past for me too.
