The number 13 is the number at the last supper if you believe in that sort of thing so it has gained from there i think all sorts of reputations...

Cannot make it why it is considered so. I was born on 13th (Sept.). Should I also consider myself unlucky?

I believe there is nothing or no stigma attached to the numbers. All numbers are equal.. Only man interepret the happenings of the past and fix a cause for the incidents. If one were to analyse the present day happenings all numbers will be bleaked out.

I really don't know but I really don't care about the numbers on things or days, I think the bad luck exist just on the mind.

according to the novel "the da vinci code", friday the 13th started when the knights or guards of the sacred ark (or something) was ordered to go to one town and get it. but it ended into a massacre, which was on the 13th day of that month, which is also a friday. that's how it all started. and for the 13th floor in a building same thing goes.
