I use chapstick all the time. Not really the brand chapstick. I like Lipslicks and Flava craze and a few others. When I had braces no one realized that I was alergic to the metal in them so my lips broke out and I have been using it from then on. What is your favortie brand or flavor?

I hardly ever wear lip stick, or lip gloss or chap stick. In the winter, if it's really dry in the house and I have a cold or something, I'll wear plain old chapstick at night, but other than that, hardly ever.

Sometimes I wish I could kick the habit. It has tunred into a little of a joke. I guess some people notice how much I put it on and others don't, or maybe are so used ot it they don't notice.

I use it all the time..I use the plain chapstick brand..I do not like the flavors..my husband will go to kiss me and he'll say, "yuk, chapstick" he does not like it..I had braces when I was young and I used Carmex then..Occasionally I will use Carmex still..

Lol, my husband used to care but I guess he got over it. I have also used Carmex and will if my lips get really bad.

I love flavored chapsticks & lip glosses. I use them daily. I don't really have a favorite though. As long as I like the smell of it, I am good. lol

My twin brother was a chapstick addict until a few weeks ago. A few months ago he started to get black spots on his lips which turned into blisters; apparently the chapstick was causing the sun to burn his lips! He is a boat captain so he is always out on the ocean in the sun. he used chapstick because his lips would often dry up and get chappy. Needless to say he was better off without it! He went to the hospital and they presecribed an ointment, we can see a little difference in the blistering on his lips but doctors say that it would take months before it completely heals. I don’t want to scare you, but you really should reconsider your addiction.

WOw, that is terrible. The chapstick I use the most has some SPF in it, as does my face lotion. I don't think I get near the amount of sun your brother does. I hope his lips heal all the way.
