Are/Were you the BULLY or the BULLIED?

I was neither the bully nor the bullied. Well, most of my friends back then were bullies. Up to now, they’re still proud to be known as “the bullies”. I could not seem to figure out why they find bullying others enjoyable. Perhaps, it’s their way of building themselves up. They’re the type who never takes orders from anyone. I was told by people convince my friends to stop their bullying; but, I just know they won’t listen since it’s their daily routine. Am I called a bully, too, if I won’t tell them to stop bullying people?

I was not a bully and I didn'r bully people. I saw plenty of that in school though. It's sad how kids treat each other. I can remember vividly getting into a fight on a field trip with a boy that was making a handicapped boy say all kinds of nasty stuff. It was awful because all the kids were laughing at him and he was laughing because he had no idea what was going on. I had a few friends that wanted to be bullies, but I don't think I ever went out of my way to stop them either. I might have said something if they were really going too far though. People that want to be bullies are going to whether you like it or not I guess.

You're right. Even though you tell the bullies off, they won't listen because they're used to bullying other people whom they think are weaklings. Either they won't listen or they'll get mad and bully you instead!
