My friends .. it's time for me to leave ...

But .. not without saying goodbye and thank you to all the friends I made here in MyLot .. there are some lovely people in here .. you know who you are .. so a big hug to you all ..
I've taken a month off from MyLot .. and I feel so much better for it .. I was starting to really hate coming in here and finding posts deleted .. squabbles started .. and so much moaning about the way admin was being run ..
Although I always enjoyed the interesting conversations you were all posting up .. I felt so 'constrained' by the over the top 'new' admin regime that I felt I simply couldn't be myself and was merely 'going through the motions' .. saying just enough to get paid .. and trying not to say anything which might vaguely be construed as 'beyond the rules' to get myself banned or posts deleted .. it's pointless posting when you know it can simply be deleted with no reason given ..
So making replies became a sheer drudgery .. and not even a well paid chore .. I took a month off to think things through .. and to be honest I don't miss the daily blow of finding posts deleted .. yet another argument starting .. or the various 'he said, she said' pantomimes ..
But I couldn't leave without saying a huge ... thank you .. to you all .. I do hope MyLot goes from strength to strength .. only I just can't be a part of it .. it was driving me demented ..

Awwwwwwwwww Tootie I am so sorry to see you go and I wish you wouldn't, I was wondering what had happened to you
I hope that you will at least come in now and again
I know what you mean and understand why but I wish you where not leaving for good

Thanks Naomi .. yes .. lovely friendly people .. great chat .. shame about the admin heheheh
I'm afraid for me getting stressed brings on unwanted flare ups of my fibro .. and I have been so much better since stopping worrying about MyLot .. I think for for me it's essential to leave and get away from the continual grinding down of the masses that is now admins regular behaviour .. ..
In the beginning though it actually did me good and made me feel better to come in here and chat away .. if only it could have stayed good .. sigh .. ohh well .. you never know things could change back again in the near future .. I see some many folks are posting leaving messages .. MyLot must take note and wonder why .. at some point ... surely ..

While I'm not too familiar with the degree of disappointment you mention I do understand why the atmosphere would get someone down. I've realised I've not been notified of most of your discussions too. How strange. Good luck to you my friend.
I hope you get the urge to drop in and just say "Hi" every now and then. Adios amigo!

Goodbye ... wonderful folks .. sad to go .. I just want the old MyLot back .. it was good .. it was very good .. posts flowed freely .. the chat was good .. folks got on .. so why go and change it all .. honestly when will folks learn to leave well alone when things are working well ...
If it isn't broke .. don't try and fix it .. :o)
And who knows when I'll be back .. if we get a new 'chief' .. we could all be deliriously happy again ..

I think any internet forum can start to become a drain. Things just tend to spin out of control after a while. I can understand you needing to get away.

Wow. . .too bad man, me too. . my earnings is still 0 and i've done few contributions here still i got nothing. I just need to observe for a few more week and try to find out the what others are talking about. I've read a lot of complains about the site, about what happend to this community, since I am new here, I'll just observe first before concluding. So wish you luck too and hope you still visit this site for some posting. Take care. . . .

I fully understand where you are coming from my friend, I did leave the site for some time too! I was fed up with discussions being deleted for no reason and points being deleted, leaving you wondering what sites to respond to and what ones to leave! Good people have left. The reason why I returned was because of the friends I have made on this site and the support I have received, I felt I was letting them down, I know we will stay in touch my friend and respect your decision. I don't care about money, friendship is platinum x

Sorry to know how disappointed you are now with what is happening in this community. I also read some members saying the same thing. However, you had made a lot of contribution by posting a lot of discussions and responses, and I am sure you will be missed by your friends here. Although you are not in my friends' list, I wish you all the luck and hope you will reconsider to visit myLot and be posting here from time to time.

Well Good luck to you.It is sad to see another good member leave Mylot.i can truly understant the reasoning behind it though.I do not blame you one bit.This site is not at all like it used to be.The pay is not here at all any more.You can work your fingers to the bone, and only make a few pennys. Then the guidelines change, and nobody is notified, this is very wrong. You can never get a reply from the administration, it is as though they do not exist.Well anyway, I hate to see you go, but it seems all the wonderful people are indeed doing the same as you, and I see why.God Bless.
