I don't, and it really surprises me when one of them says i am her good friend. we know nothing about each other. Was I brought up strangely, or do others feel the same as me that just because we work together, doesn't mean we are friends

I do not consider my co-workers my friends, as in friends that I can tell anything too..I do not know them that well..If I mention a co-worker to someone, I call them my co-worker not friend...you were not brought up strange..I understand what you are saying.

I have a few friends from work. But I keep the friendships outside of work. I don't talk about personal stuff at work. Also ~ I never have relationships with people I work with. It's caused a lot of heartache for me in the past.

Its a funny thing. I worked in an office & while I liked my co-workers, I really didn't consider any of them friends. Now, I then moved to another office & one of the gals had moved from out of town &, besides her church, she only had the people from the office. Since I had grown up in town I had my friends away from work. You might consider if this gal is like that, were she really doesn't have much of a circle outside of work.

some of my friends are my co-workers because we work together and have time to know each other. when we find we can get on well with each other, we become friends.

Hi there. When I was working in a local restaurant, I got along with all the staff members, as to having them for my true friends, thats another story... I dont get that close to co-workers, how ever like I said, i do get along with them, because i we worked in the same place, its a case of having too, otherwise you'll never get by... My personal views anyway...

I believe that even you work together it means that both of your were friends. WEll, in my case it happens that me and my co-workers have the same interests, almost same ages and so most of us were good buddies and good friends. We share problems inside the office, share thoughts, food, money, plan outings and other activities wherein most of us enjoy. So i can say my co-worker are my friends.

I do consider my co-workers as my friends but not all of them are my good friends only a few of them. In the office I have a small group of good friends which I hang-out once everyweek after office hours.
