At what age do babies start sitting down properly

                    Probably about 7 or 8 months. Although they are still a little like bobble head dolls until after 8 months.
The still need little barriers like cushions to keep them from tipping and rolling off say a couch or a bed.

                    Sitting up can occur anywhere from 6 months to over a year, depending on the child. However, if your child hasn't learned to sit by himself from a laying down position by 1 year old, you should probably talk to your doctor about it.
