I have to set my alarm clock all the time, even for a nap. If I didn't set my clock, only God knows what time I would wake up.

Well, I can thank God that he takes care of that too. I have no way of controling my breathing while I am sleeping.

I stopped using alarms long ago.I used to keep alarms when I was in school but I would feel groggy all day because the alarm would wake me up from deep sleep very suddenly. So I trained myself to get up early with determination. If I need to get up early for travelling or some other work,I tend to wake up 15 mins before I really intend to.I don't like alarms anymore. But my mobile phone has a really nice alarm which does not ring like conventional alarms. It just speaks like a human being and says,Please wake up,now the time is (whatever the time I have set).I like this but I still rely on my body clock and mind to wake me up.

Hello coolgeth. I only set my alarm during weekdays. I need to have an alarm clock as well as set my mobile alarm clock too. I'm mostly busy within this 5 days period. However, on weekends, I take pleasure in getting more sleep. So alarm clock is not needed. :)

We set our alarms only during the week. I usually don't ever have to be anywhere too early so I don't need an alarm for myself. But my husband sets one to get him going before work each day. On the weekend we try to sleep in if possible.

I used to work mornings and had to be there by 4:30 a.m. So I needed to set an alarm. Then I switched to nights, so I didn't need an alarm at all. I just slept until I woke up. Now I am retired, so I don't ever set an alarm. I am finally on a routine where I can sleep at the normal time most people sleep, or I can stay up all night if I want to. Either way, I don't need an alarm. I like it that way.

Hello Coolgeth, If I am not that sleepy, I will set my alarm clock. If not, I will just jump on to the bed and sleep. I have a better alarm right now. My baby son wakes up at 6.30 in the morning without fail and so, I have to force myself to wake up too. Once I didn't and he fell down from the bed!

I do the same friend. I won't keep alarm when going to bed. I only keep alarm only when I have an important thing to do at nigh like studying or when I want to go somewhere early in the morning. Thanks

I never have to use an alarm clock anymore. My daughter is my alarm clock now. She never sleeps later than 8am. So I am always up bright and early.
