Im interested in hearing an American perspective on David Beckham's transfer to the LA Galaxy. How well known is he generally to Americans, and do you think he will raise interest in soccer there?

Americans do not watch soccer. It will take more than David Beckham to get people to watch soccer. Maybe throw in some naked chix and they might watch. Maybe.

I don't know who David Beckham is and I doubt there are many who know who he is.
