Quick question for Associated Content members

Page views only update about once a week now, and I'm not sure which day is the magical day when that happens. Sometimes it also goes for longer than a week without updating. I know that things were updated some time in the past week, though, so it should update again sometime this week. Yeah, I know, that's a whole lot of non-information. They're supposed to be working on page views, so that they will update in real time, but I don't think there is an estimated time for when that will happen. Seeing as it took them months to even get page views listed, it wouldn't surprise me if it takes them a while to get real time page view counts. They just updated about four or five days ago so it might be a while. I asked about this a while back and everyone said that they are dragging their feet in implementing an automatic or live update to page views. Don't worry, when it does update you will fall off your chair when you see the huge jump in numbers.

The updates are very erratic. They are supposed to be developing hourly updates but there's no more specific estimate for when that will happen than "soon". Good luck with your promotion and articles. Would you share your link and some of your promotion techniques? That is a question that is always a hot topic. This last time, it was 3 weeks between updates on page views. So, don't worry, they will eventually get it in there. I wish they would do it at least every week, but it's still new to them and they are working out the bugs. Actually, it would be nice if it was in real time. But, I'm not going to hold my breath. They are very supportive. I also have an article under a different pen name. It is Myfanwy. If you read that article, you will see why I have done this. I plan to write more articles on the same topic under this pen name, as well.
