What a church

My aunt was telling me about this church she was looking into joining in Jacksonville, FL. She said that they had payment booklets that members had and how much they had to PAY to join this church. And if you missed a payment you got in trouble. Why would anyone want to join a church like that? No this payment was NO an offering. it was like a bill. And the weird thing is over 1000 people were members. I guess they thought their church was better because they had to pay for it.

I was just wondering if this church was offering things that maybe other churches weren't. Like a christian school or day care or fitness area. If not I find that rather odd that a church would make people pay on top of a tithe or a gift

I would not want to be in a church that had those type of stipulations. I heard stories about some churches now have ATM machines. I would stay clear of a church like that seems like the powers that be just need the moneys.

God dose not force people to offer there wages, he only ask that you give in return. There is something wrong with this church, it seems to me that htye have stumbled of the straight and narrow path.

Well that's weird. I have never seen such an organization like that. May they be corrected. Tell her that God is not poor and God does not require any payment for them to be a member of the church which God has ordained.
