Meteor Garden vs Hana yori Dango

MG or HYD - Jerry Yan or Daomingsi in Meteor Garden who just doesn't know how to act but can also sing and is a member of popular Taiwan group named as F4 but now known as JVKV. While on the other hand Jun Matsumoto or Doumyugi in Hana Yori Dango also can sing and a member of j-pop group named Arashi.

What will you choose? Meteor Garden or Hana Yori Dango? What is the best show for you? For me they are both nice but some of their characters have differences in the way they act. Like the role of Daomingsi or Doumyugi it is played the best by Jerry Yan of meteor garden and when it comes to the role of Sanchai or Makino the girl in hana yori dango played it well. Well how about you? For me its just my opinion, you can say what's on your mind...about this.

I prefer BOYS OVER FLOWERS!!!!!!!! wahhhh!!!! love the cast, the clothes, the setting....totally different from the Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango... Lee Min Ho = Goo Jun Pyo ( the leader of the F4 boys) is to die for!!!!!!!

i have to agree with suzique...hana dan is way better than meteor garden.. setting, acting, cinematography... i cringe at meteor garden i really can't stand their acting... meteor started it but with so much anticipation on hana dan last 2005 (for the reason that people wanted to see if it will just be a copy cat of meteor) the wait really paid off.... i like hana dan 2 than hana dan 1.. you can really see the maturity of the characters a year after.. and domyouji is miles better than dao ming zhu... oh well to compare both you have to watch it first cutiedhes

I like them both. But if asked to choose, it's Hana Yori Dango (not just because I'm a Jun Matsumoto fan), but I found it more engaging (the characters and especially the set).

I like them both, but if I'm asked to choose I'd prefer Hana Yori Dango. I find it more engaging (and I am Jun Matsumoto fan).

Hana yori dango - Makino and Doumouji in Hana yori dango
Hana yori dango was waaay better than Meteor Garden. Their acting was far superior to the taiwanese version. The lead Makino (Inoue Mao) is great and too cute. Doumyugi was awesome as well. I only watched about a few episodes of Meteor Garden and I couldn't get into it.

i prefer hana yori dango. i think the plot changes and charac ters in meteor garden were overacting. actors from hana yori dango act naturally as if they are the real characters of that story

Definitely Hana Yori Dango! Although they changed the storyline a bit, I liked it more. Maybe because I'm not much of a drama person. I really liked Domyouji in HYD, because that's how I imagined him to be in the manga. Though Rui or Lei in Meteor Garden is much more handsome! hahaha... But I really loved Makino/sanchai in HYD because she played the role really well.

i like Hana Yori Dango better. The plot was changed a little so that people won't say that they copied it directly from Meteor Garden. I like all the stars who played in Hana Yori Dango. They played their roles really well. I also love the background music playing in Hana Yori Dango. The music fits the story well and it also carries the atmosphere of the story. While in Meteor Garden, they only have few osts or none at all.
