I might give my husband a quick peck out in public, but I do not stick my tongue down his throat. Call me old fashioned, but I try to be mindful of other people. Others might feel a bit sick to see you playing tonsil tennis with your partner. I know that when I see a couple really going for it out in public I think "Get a room already." I especially hate it if they are making a slurping noise when they kiss. I understand that I may seem weird, I think it might be my Englishness.
I am also mindful of the lonely. Have you ever been in a situation when you and a lover have broken up and you see a couple kissing in the street. It makes you feel one hundred times worse than you did already.

I kiss my girlfriend in public but for only a short time like when she has to go home or when I say my peace be with you in the mass. We don't kiss in a very lewd manner because I myself hate seeing couples kissing in public in that way. A smack in the cheek of lips is enough for both of us.

I can relate cause that's how i do it with my gf too. and of course we are used to a conservative type of culture.. unlike some foreign countries,, my friend who had a vacation in Switzerland was shocked to see people go all the way in public.. well its their tradition although its not pleasing to the eyes especially for minors..

whenever i live in, i won't do that in public because for me it's not something to be showed off. It's must done privately and only between me and my boyf. Other people don't have to know our intimacy. Yeah,maybe i'm an old fashion person,but that's me.
But if i see other people doing it in public, i don't really care about it and i won't feel disturb.it's their problem.

Ah ok,, i respect your answer.. just a question, does it really matters if the girl you are saying sffects how people shows their affection to the public.. i mean is this girl you are saying is a hot chick or is she one har to get babe that when you publicize your kissing it would make you feel better.? just curious..(:

I kiss my husband whenever I feel like it, if I am in public or not.
Whenever I get the urge, I just kiss him.

Yes, in fact I am very affectionate. I was raised in a family that was; and so am myself. I think it actually helps bonding with my partner. I have never liked people that think of it as disrespectful; but that is their way. I respect it; but I have never liked it.

Im actually a shy person but when it comes to public display of affection i change into a different person.. kissing in public? why not whats the difference doing it in private.. c'mon don't mind the people around you..who cares.. especially when there is passion im willing to go all the way i mean all the way.ehehe
