are you affected by what other people think or say about you?

Yes somehow it affects me. I am just a typical person who easily gets affected of what other's may say about me. If it is a bad compliment then I must ask myself if I really possess that thing that the person is saying about me. Then if it is true I must admit it and change that negatives for the better. But if it is a commendation then it will really flatters me a lot for they notice those positive things that I have.

I used to care alot about what people used to think about me. Way too much if you ask me lol. It seems like having kids really changes some people. I was super shy and hated being in a room full of crowds etc...Now that I have kids, I am not as uncomfortable as I used to be. I can now talk to people and I really don't care what other people think of me or about me. You just have to finally realize that you cannot please everyone nor would you want to if you really think about it. The more mature you become the easier it gets.
