Modified Cars... I wonder sometimes

Okay I just have to get this off my chest, it bothers me soooo freaking much. I see tons are horribly modified cars, seriously wtf are these people thinking? Do they really think its cool to have a freaking double decker spoiler or the metal ones that look like they want to fly? or a banner on both the front and back windshield? I seriously want to beat them senseless...like the could get anymore senseless than putting flames on their car (flames are ok on muscle cars). Then I see cars with just the front bumper part of the body kit, it looks so dumb. Some of you may say "Maybe people do that because they don't have the money to get the rest of the body kit molded (if they even get it molded) to their car". It would make more sense to save up money and get all of the body kit put on then making you and your car look retarded. And wtf is up with spoilers on trucks? I think its so stupid, trucks are heavy, what is the point of the spoiler? Definently not looks. Also I hate Honda Civics with a passion...yea a freaking passion, more so the modified ones. People who have modified civics think they are so cool, a lot of the moded civics I see have flames.... I am sorry to say flames do NOT add horsepower. Civics have what 106 - 127 horsepower (at least the 1996-2000's), and somehow people think they are fast. Yea... maybe with a Turbo or a Supercharger, then you get up to about 205 - 227 (maybe a little bit more) not that bad but I am sure there are STOCK cars that even surpass that. And what is up with fart-cans? So many civics put fart-cans on their exhaust, all it does is make your car sound horrible. If you hear the exhaust more then the actual engine, yea it means your engine is crap. VTec engines are crap in general. Gosh so many stupid ricers thinking they are the sh!t, how I want to gouge out there eyes and make them see how disgusting their cars are. Okay I think I'm done, sorry I really had to get that out. These are just my opinions, if you want to add yours you are welcome to. I am interested in what people have to say.... and yes I may need counseling, lol :)

hey sweet trix, wow you got a lot off your chest there! LOL Well if you need counseling then so do I cause I think the same way as you do when it comes to that. I do like the honda civics but not the modified ones. I had a civic as the first car I bought myself and loved it. It was a 78 and I didn't change anything. I think they are so big now because of the movie 'fast and the furious' and any other like that. I have never seen the trucks with a spoiler but ya wouldn't make much sense to me to do that to it. Ya flames are ok for muscle cars but your average car should see them. LOL I have seen the cars with the fart-cans although never paid much attention to them but never really knew why someone would want to do that either. Just don't make much sense to me and a waste of money. :)

thanks for agreeing with me, but of course their is going to be someone who is against something I said. Yea and becuase of the fast and furious movies StreetGlow has their own line of fast and furious underlighting, which streetglow sucks. Arrg, the reason why I need counseling is because of them, lol. They are always trying to race my fiancee', which we totally ignore them, becuase to other NICE modified cars to race a modified civic would be shameful, lol. Just leave civics how they are, they are ment for gas milage not preformance! Thanks for your response.

Ya it is really amazing what people will buy into without even thinking about it. Or just because they saw it on some movie. I am sure someone will have something to say to you as well but hey can't please them all! LOL :)

Yeah, I understand what you mean. I hate people modifying their cars, too. I would prefer buying a new rather than spending money modifying an old car. But my husband has a different view on this. He likes modified car especially old ones, and we had fought about this issue many times when it comes to decision in buying a car. I hope I will win in our debate so we can buy the car of my choice, not his. Lol...
