Now that the heat is upon us, how do you keep cool? What is the best way to beat the heat? Do you enjoy the weather after the heat wave?

Well I live on an island where there is a heat wave almost all the time and there is nothing else to do but go to the beach every day…lol.. we usually go down to the “bantalon” where we make the kids swim and we jump of the Pierre. It’s summer now and school is out so you can imagine how packed it gets. We go to the beach everyday there are a lot of beaches for us to choose from, there is one around every corner…lol.. Today, we are going to world Resort where they have a huge water park, I can only afford to take my kids this one time because it cost $25.00 per person and I have three children! That’s basically all we do to beat the heat, is go swimming. I enjoy it when it rains and the wind is alot cooler but that only happens once in a while.

I aswell live on an island, but in Canada. We are in the middle of summer and with the hummidity the temperatures here can reach up to 40c but but because the island is like a big rainforest we do get breaks with rain...but when we get out heat waves it is brutal and the only way to cool down is to go to the ocean, lakes and pools. I can not imagine living in an area with year long heat, I love the cooler days and even the ocacional snow falls.

There is a pool on the property. We live in a condo community and we have a hot tub and tennis courts. When I want something cool to drink I go across the street to the cafe for ice cream and iced coffee or a milkshake.

Now that is a nice location to live....I wish I lived near a pool. The closet pool is the Aquatic centre 15 minutes away.
