Dog parks

I went to my first dog park over the weekend. It was fun, but the dogs didn't really interact that much. My two just kind of stuck close by me, but that may be because they are 10 and 6 years old. Have you been to a dog park? How was your experience?

We had an awesome dog park where I used to live. I found that the dogs interacted and played more in the cooler months than in the summer ones. They had all kinds of obstacle courses for the dogs set up that some of them loved. Plus it was a huge fenced in area for them to just run around and be crazy in. In your case, I would just be thankful that my dogs didn't fight with any of the other ones, I've seen that happen before and it's not pretty because the owners inevitably get into it. I would rather they not interact than fight!
