Children benefit from one-on-one relationships with caring adults who are positive role models. Mentoring relationships encourage young people to look forward to the future and plan their careers.Far too many boys and girls, unfortunately, do not have mentors. As a result, they are uncertain about the direction their lives could take. Have you ever been a mentor to a child? Are you a mentor to a child right now? What program are you affiliated with? The Boys and Girls Programs of America are great. Being a mentor to a child at your local school is also a good way to help out a child. Are you thinking about becoming a mentor? Please comment.
