I have recently been finding myself haveing somewhate of a serious motivational problem with just about everything in life. There aree tonnes of things that I want to do, or need to do, or know I should be doing but I am haveing a very hard time making myself get up and do any of it. This is bad for more than one reason, the obvious is, that nothing gets done. But other than that, I don't feel good about myself and I don't feel that good in general. I do not want to sit around the house all day and accomplish nothing, I have planty of goals, I just can't seem to make myslef do anything about it lately. My plan to try to help this situation is this: We are moving soon and once we have and my husband goes back to work after his 2 week vacation, I plan to try to make a To-Do List and schedule all the things that I want to accomplish each day and try to get myself into the habit of doing the same things everyday. I have alot of things that I am not manageing to do an a daily basis now that I want to start doing. I am getting ready to start making the list soon, and I really hope it helps, but I am afraid the amount of stuff that I need to put on it will be overwhelming. Does anyone here find that they benfit from scheduleing that everyday tasks?

I have been trying to get into the habit of creating schedules and to do lists for myself. I work from home as a freelance web content writer. Although, I usually write for other people, I have been working on some of my own projects as well. The only thing is that I have been spending too much time doing so, lol and not enough time making money right away. I created a schedule this week and last week that assigned days that I could work on my websites and days that I had to work on my projects for my clients. So far, so good, but I really hope that I can stick with the program.

I am the same way, I find that I always end up doing something that is not very important and then don't end up doing things that really need to get done. Then so much builds up that I end up feeling overwhelmed by it and getting really hateful and not wanting to do it at all. I am hoping that i will be able to make a list and actually stick to getting the stuff on it done before doign other stuff but I guess we will see.

Schedules rarely help me, but I do use To-Do lists quite often. I find that they help if you make one just for that day, with the things you need to get done then. The times that I've made longer lists with all the things I need to do, half of them never get done because it's so overwhealming! A small list that needs to be completed that day on the other hand almost always work for me.

Yeah I find that long lists are hard too, but I have so many little things that I need to get used to doing each day and just procrastinate about everything now, I was thinking maybe if I schedule it then I might get atrted in time to actually finish everything.
