Update on "Need help with fish tank"

Well, by Friday night all of the guppies that were left had died. The 2 goldfish were still living, but they died Saturday morning. Apparently my tank was infested with 'ick' and I was too late to save the fish. My husband cleaned out the tank Saturday really good and we let it run for 24 hours with no fish in it. We went ahead and bought 2 new golfish yesterday and for now are keeping it at that. The fish tank is really for my son, so he won't care if it's only goldfish in there or not. Thanks for all that helped me over the weekend!
