I have recently got two african dwarf frogs. Although I did a lot of research on these little guys...one of them doesn't seem to be eating every time I feed them. I read someplace that I may need to hand feed them because they don't always see the food on the bottom of the tank. I was wondering if anyone has done this before...what do I use to feed them. I feed them frozen bloodworms. Would it be ok to use tweezers? Thanks for your help!!

frozen brineshrimp can also be used. From what I know they really do only eat the brineshrimp or the bloodworms. They usually won't eat unless its on the bottom of the tank so I don't think you will have great success with the tweezers. They don't eat live things (they aren't prey hunters) they eat by smell. You may not be seeing them devour their food but its possible they are definitely eating.

I buy the floating food pellets. Thing that sink are two fast for the frogs to notice and find them. My frogs eat regular tropical fish food, and these pellets. I switch them out every other day. I am going to tr and buy little feeder fish. I think they will enjoy them. My frogs take for ever to eat. They search all over the top of tank before they finally eat.

When I had those frogs I would just drop one pellet in there and the frog would eat it. Unfourntaly the frog didn't last very long.
