Gladiator fans do you find yourself talking the people in Gladiator?

I realized that each time that I watch Gladiator, I find that I start trying to help out Gladiator. I tell him to watch out or don't trust someone. I even get up and root for him in various scenes. Do you find yourself cheering on certain characters? Do you start yelling at the screen to tell Gladiator to watch out? Am I alone in this?
