Pink Beaches in Italy

It seems that Italian women have grown tired of men gawking at the m in their skimpy beachwear, so they've come up with what they are calling a "Pink Beach." There are no men allowed. There are make-up sessions, exercise classes, etc. I thought that was the whole idea behind wearing the skimpy beachwear-to get the men's attention, LOL.

I would hate to have make up sessions and exercise classes on the beach - I would rather be in a group of men wearing a skimpy bikini than in a group of strange women - women are far more critical and may make you feel less at ease as they tend to compare other women to themselves and i know they would feel superior when they see all my lumps and bumps! lol xxx

Yes, mummymo, that sounds like going to work instead of having a relaxing time. And, women are too critical. That is why I would never take a group exercise class. I would rather do it on my own.

LOL! Beaches without half naked men in skimpy swimming trunks - how boring!!! Mind you - in my experience, most of the men parading around on beaches are best covered up, - but then I guess you could say that about many of the women too! I hadn't heard of these Pink Beaches, and not sure I would want to do make-up and exercises on my holiday - but then whatever floats your boat as they say:-))

You're absolutely right, rosie. It kind of defeats the whole purpose, doesn't it, LOL. What's next-Blue Beaches for the guys?

That's what I always thought too. If you don't want to be looked at, where more cloths or a swimsuit that covers more. LIVE IN PEACE

That seems like a dumb idea. Why don't they just go to the beach in modest clothing. I think that doing makeup while out in the sun on the beach is kind of defeating the purpose. I think people do some strange things!

That's funny..yes you would think women who wear skimpy beachwear wouldn't mind being gawked at all the time, but hey it can get annoying, especially if men stare at women like their a prime cut of beef on the market...LOL
