It all depends on whether we have the funds to go to a movie. Lately it has been movies because its another pastime for us and since I don't watch much tv, watching a movie seems much more fun than tv LOL especially eating all the goodies you can buy LOL

Definitely television. There is a wider variety, it doesn't cost a lot, and eventually the movie will be on TV anyway. A couple years ago I would go to the movies about 4 or 5 times a year. Now it is once a year. I just have to really watch where I spend my money, and right now movies are low on my priority list. Although I would love to see Live Free or Die Hard. : ) And, the dollar movie is always an option. Every Tuesday it only costs 50 cents. And I can find that in the cushions in my car.

I have to watch my money too.I watch it go into the bank once a month and out the same day, lol. After that I have no other money coming in.You can't find any change in my car seats,I have already found it.

I have to admit the change is not my own. On occasion my dad will take my car and change the oil or have the tires balanced, and change comes out of his pockets into the seats. He doesn't know, but he contributes to my small entertainment fund!

Once upon a time , I had so many t.v. shows that I would see my shows and rarely see movies on t.v. Along the same time, there were so many films that I wanted to see that I had to write the titles down and the ones I didn't get to see in the theater, I would try to see on cable. But these days I only have two t.v. shows and the movies that are in the theater, I don't want to see so I see most films on t.v. They are older films, the rare film that was in the theater that I wanted to see, and independent films that didn't come to my local theater.

We are members of Blockbuster online- so most of the time we wait for the movie to come out on DVD- then get it- We do go out to the movie theaters a lot also- Usually my daughter and I go to the movies for the kids ones- It’s hard to wait when you are 10- lol.. the movie theater in town is pretty cheap- we also go to the drive-in a lot!

We wait until the movie comes out on cable. It is too expensive to go to the theater and ever since they made those theaters into three and made those seats so small ---- Sometimes when there is a very special movie comes out, we will go to the theater to see it. But it has to be unforgettable.

i wait for cable-movie theatres are too much money to put up with screaming kids.plus i know i have a clean bathroom, and i can eat my own snacks. if i liked the movie after i've seen it on cable,i'll usually go buy the dvd.

Snacks at the theatre is expensive too.I have gone in the bathroom at stores and theatre's and they may be real dirty. My daughter goes to the bathroom when we are at the store and when she comes out she tells me that she didn't go because the bathroom is dirty.

I like watching TV more. I agree that the movie theater is too expensive to go very much. We usually just wait until the DVD comes out and then get it from Netflix. If we like it, we'll buy it.

Before marriage, I used to watch movies in the theatres almost every week along with my friends and there were occasions in one day, I had seen 3 to 4 movies - morning show, noon show, matinee show, night show. That was the crazy. Now for the past 8 years, I havenot gone to theatres. I see the movies in computer and TV.

We much perfer TV. We very rarely treat ourselves to go out to see a new movie, its maybe a once a year thing if that. We do have all the movie channels though and usually catch the movies on there instead of renting. Usually too we have so much on Tv that we like watching that we end up having to tape half of it and watch it later. So we do catch up and that gives us things to watch when we don't have anything on regular Tv.

Sometimes going to the movies can be fun but it is much cheaper to watch the movies either on t.v or DVD. We have Directv so all we have to do is wait until the movie comes out on Pay Per View and it only costs $3.99 which is about the same amount for a DVD. Of course there is also Blockbuster online and Netflix which is a pretty good deal too. We used to have Netflix and they were pretty good for a while but they started taking longer and longer to send the movies. I think Blockbuster Online is a much better deal because they have stores all over the place and if you change your mind about the movie they send you you can go right to the store and trade it for another one at no extra cost. Also they give you a free movie every week in the store. We are thinking about going with Blockbuster Online soon. My sister uses them and she says they are much better than Netflix. Like I said though going to the theater can be fun and there are certain days you can get in cheaper than other days. Of course I would much rather go to the drive in if I was to go out to see a movie though. I haven't been to the drive in in a long time but I was just at the movie theater for my moms birthday back in November. We went to see The Santa Clause 3. It was fun but I am not comfortable being around crowds. :)

We just rent or buy the DVD when it comes out. With a family of 5 its way to spendy for us to all go out to the movies together. Though we would really love to see the new Harry Potter movie but will probably just wait until it comes out on DVD or might go if it comes to the $2 theatre near us.

i used to be a movie goer when i was single, but now not so much we just rent dvd and watch in the comfort of our home, its much cheaper,, besides my husband is not so much in going out and we have a little girl... but for me, i like going to the movie there's nothing like the big screen and the digital sounds.
