Found an article about the premise of a new book called, "The World Without Us". The author speculates what would happen if hunmankind were to vacate the planet. He suggests recovery of the natural world would still be possible.
The article also mentions the latest from the zero population growth movement. It really is a pity that we, as a sentient species, will never be intelligent enough to actually control the human infestation and bring our global population back down to a level the planet can actually support.
I thought it made for good reading, here's the link;

Earth is beautiful and the people around give more beauty on it so how can you say it's beautiful if there's no people at all that would make this planet so wonderful.
who will take care of the living things?...It would be so dull.

God intended people to be on this earth. When Adam and Eve were first created here, they were made perfect and had there been no sin, we could have supported more population than we do now. Already Europe is below replacement levels and Russia is way down ever farther. Why do you think the Russian girls want to marry North Americans? Because they want to have children. We have gone through at least two world wars, one which proposed the extinction of a certain part of the population. Surely you should have learned from that. Humans are not infestations, they were created by God for a purpose, to be fruitful and multiply, not so animal lovers, people haters like yourself can get rid of.

Who peed in your Cheerios today, suspenseful?
Did God put us here to procreate like viruses? And since when do I have to bow to your god? The human infestation violates Christian principles quite directly, so what god are you referring to? Since I'm commenting on things written by not one, but two different people, why are you making such a pitiful attempt to insult me? How about I stay and we get rid of people who don't bother to read the referenced material before they run their mouths, hmm?
The idea that what people want is the only thing that matters is both an idiocy and an arrogance that the planet cannot support.
