Having been born in the early sixties, am tempted to believe Presley and the Beatles were relly the regn Music greats, so I could as well laim any of heir No.1 of the time!

Mine was "Michael" by the Highwaymen - as in "Michael row the boat ashore ..." That was October 1961. Wow some of the other responses here make me feel very old! In some ways it's a little depressing lol!
